Definitions

License Activation
When you input the license key and related activation information into your QuickBooks software on your machine, completing the activation process.
Session Start
When your assigned bookkeeper joins the call or begins work.
Recurring Appointment
A batch of sessions purchased and scheduled according to your selected frequency.

Scope

This Return Policy applies to:

  • QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus license purchases.
  • Bookkeeping session fees.

QuickBooks License Returns

  • Refunds available only if the license has not been activated.
  • License activation is defined as the issuance of the license key by our reseller (KEYSEMPIRE LLC).
  • Return requests must be submitted within 5 business days of purchase by replying to your purchase confirmation email or via the Contact Form.
  • All requests are subject to approval by KEYSEMPIRE LLC.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 business days.

Bookkeeping Session Refunds

  • Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your session start time.
  • 50% fee if you cancel between 12 and 24 hours before.
  • No refund if you cancel less than 12 hours before or fail to show up.
  • Any no-show fees or ancillary charges are non-refundable.
  • Session start is defined as when your assigned bookkeeper joins the call or begins work.
  • Refund requests must be submitted by replying to your booking confirmation email or via the “Cancel” button in your Dashboard.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 business days.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, reply to your confirmation email or use the Contact Form. Please include your transaction details and reason for the request.

Processing Refunds

All refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Amount refunded will equal the amount you paid; Stripe transaction fees may apply.

We reserve the right to refuse or partially grant refunds at our sole discretion in cases of suspected abuse or fraud.

Recurring Appointment Refunds

Recurring appointments are paid upfront for a set number of sessions. For any unused future sessions, refunds will be handled as follows:

  • Refunds for unused sessions may be requested by contacting us.
  • Refund amounts will be prorated based on the number of sessions remaining at the time of cancellation.
  • Processing and approval follow the standard Session Refunds rules above.

Changes to This Return Policy

We may update this Return Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date above and post the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
